Goods, Death and Reapers. The Blood-Flooded Temple of Khnum

Inspired by our community’s feedback, we’ve reimagined Egyptian mythology in the afterlife for the next civilization for Gods, Death and Reapers. The mummified corpse of Khnum lies at the heart of his temple. From his body, blood pours endlessly, flooding sacred halls once devoted to creation. A divine sanctuary turned into a monument of decay. It was an unusual but rewarding experience to work on a community submitted brief.

For columns I made a GN setup in Blender to easily modify meshes with curves. Similar to "Curve" modifier but a one click solution that's easy to control with an embedded array control. So all the parts of columns are flat meshes

For the broken columns I voxelized and merged a column, broke it in Modeler and then rebaked textures from the non-destroyed versions

And I couldn't miss an opportunity to make the giant waterbugs eggs a GN mod too.
